1. TMS, HMEL in collaboration with LPU, JALANDHAR conducted an engaging session on Financial Literacy for students, led by Dr. Anoop Mohanty. Dr. Mohanty holds a certification as a SEBI SMART and has conducted more than 150 financial literacy and capacity-building workshops across rural regions of Punjab.The session focused on building financial awareness among students through practical insights on topics such as venture capitalists, merchant banking, loan investments, the capital market, NSE, BSE, card skimming, currency chests, and the NCFE e-Learning Management System.
Through real-life examples and interactive discussions, Mr. Mohanty highlighted the importance of budgeting, saving, and making informed financial decisions to the students of classes 9-12. The session was a valuable step toward preparing students for responsible financial management.
2. A training session for teachers, in collaboration with Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, was conducted on 26th June by Mr. Gaurav Bali from LPU on the topic “Classroom Management.”
The session highlighted practical strategies for maintaining an effective learning environment, managing student behaviour, and fostering positive teacher-student relationships. It provided valuable insights into proactive approaches and real-life scenarios that can enhance classroom discipline and engagement. This training will help teachers create structured, inclusive, and student-centered classrooms, ultimately improving the overall teaching-learning experience.
3. On April 22, 2025, The Millennium School, HMEL came together to celebrate Earth Day under the inspiring theme “Our Power, Our Planet.” The day was filled with creativity, awareness, and a strong message of sustainability.
Our students actively participated in hands-on activities like paper mâché crafts, upcycled plastic bottle planters, and recycled material artworks—each reflecting their commitment to protecting the environment.
We were honored to host Mr. Arjun Shekhawat, who led an engaging and informative session on renewable resources and sustainable living, sparking curiosity and responsibility in our young learners.
A major highlight was the Grade 9 and 10 students’ visit to a solar power plant, offering them firsthand insights into the power of clean, green energy.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Principal, Mr. Tarun Kumar, for his visionary leadership and unwavering support in promoting environmental awareness and experiential learning.

4. “The health of our children is the foundation of a brighter future.”
A highly insightful and informative session on kids’ nutrition was conducted at TMS HMEL, led by renowned dietitian Ms. Nandini Katyal. She provided valuable tips on maintaining proper nutrition in children and incorporating healthy eating habits into daily life. Parents actively participated in the session, raising various queries about their children’s diet and well-being. Ms. Katyal patiently addressed all concerns, offering practical solutions to ensure balanced nutrition for growing kids.

5. TMS, HMEL had the privilege of hosting an insightful seminar on transforming traditional education through brain science, interactive techniques, and experiential learning. The session was conducted by Mr. Suraj Mehta, CEO of MIMEMN, and Acharya Ramesh Sachdeva, Principal of HPS Senior Secondary School. Their engaging approach emphasized making education an enriching and enjoyable journey for students of all ages.
A highlight of the event was the impressive demonstration by their trained students—Sahil Deep, Akshdeep, Sonakshi, and Purab who showcased exceptional memory retention skills, leaving the audience amazed.
