Gleaming faces and mellow vibes… carrying themselves with zeal-struck attitude,at the best of their strides, the soon departing students of 2017-18 batch walked through the gates of The Millennium School for one last time. “One last time” seems a hard phrase when you’ve been a part of the system for quite a while but such is life.
Soon after the lighting of the lamp, thunder of claps shook the auditorium ,as the juniors presented a beautiful cultural event before their seniors. The seniors couldn’t resist the temptation of throwing a move or two on their very seats,for obvious reasons. The theatrical act performed by the juniors left the audience mesmerised
The‘Question & Answer Session’ was never fun in the classroom.. but ..it was an amazing session at the farewell party. Some cumbersome questions thrown to the selected pupils got excellent responses and even better feedback from the others in the form of an applause.
A wise man once said,”If you want to keep the people happy, just keep the food and entertainment rolling”. A scrumptious lunch was necessary after an exhausting dance session. The students of Class XI ensured that no plate was left untouched and no delicacy spared. Lifting his hand in the air, the DJ took over the auditorium and the students lost themselves to the rhythm of the music. They danced with vivacity to the most of their spirits.
The Principal of the school,Dr Manjula Goswami blessed the students and extended her good wishes to them for a bright and successful future.She shared interesting anecdotes from the lives of great people, to inspire the students.The much awaited titles of the day, Mr. Millennium was awarded to Abhimanyu Madhusudanan and Miss Millennium was awarded to Shivangi Bhadauria.
A million promises were made and a million photographs were clicked with friends who became family, teachers who became parents and rooms which became temples and a journey which made every individual unique in their own manner. The day marched towards dusk and so did the school days of the students of Class XII.
