“Hindi Diwas” or “Hindi Day” is celebrated on 14th September each year in India. A special assembly was conducted by the children of The Millennium School to mark the importance of the country’s most widely spoken language .Various programmes including recitation of Kabir’s and Tulsidas’s Dohey , dance and Nukkad Natak were presented by the students of various classes. The grandparents of MLS-I, who were there as special invitees, got a chance to catch a glimpse of their grand child’s daily life and meet his or her peers and teachers.
The day concluded with “Kavya Pratiyogita” held by the students of classes II and III.

The Principal of the School , Dr. Manjula Goswami , praised the efforts of the children. She emphasized on the need of honoring all the languages of the country.
