‘Poetry is not an interest, not even a passion, but a state of being.’

This philosophy of Wordsworth is well understood by The Millennium School and constant efforts are made to instill the same within the students. One example of these efforts was the Rhyme and Recitation programme organized for the Kindergarten students on 12th December, 2013.
Popular children's poems were recited and new talents of elocution were discovered in the blithesome environment. All students participated with exuberance and basked in the light hearted ambience. Under the guidance of the teachers, the students put up a great show and explored the skills of recitation. It was a rewarding experience for the parents to see their little ones perform on the stage.
The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami appreciated the students and addressed the event as a convivial journey into the realms of poesy.
