To hone the writing skills of our young and aspiring creative writers, a ‘Story Writing Workshop’ was conducted at The Millennium School, Lucknow. Aiming at students of classes IX to XII ,the workshop was held at the school on 17th July,2014 .Noted author and poet, Neelam Saxena Chandra gave her valuable inputs and guidelines to the young budding talents at the workshop. She told the students how content, storyline, depth of the characters and writing style go a long way into making the narrative appealing. She also shared the ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ of writing short stories as well as novels. Students took keen interest in the workshop and could be seen making a note of valuable tips. It was a beautiful opportunity for our literary claimants to get a refresher course in creative writing skills.
