On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, the students of Class VI of The Millennium School celebrated the spirit of compassion and empathy. They visited Cheshire Home which is an old age home in Lucknow. The students spent quality time with the members of the home and entertained them with a melodious song and a short skit on India’s freedom fighters. The students also distributed sweets, biscuits and namkeen packets. It was a memorable learning experience for the students. The senior citizens of the home were overwhelmed at the warm-hearted gesture of the children.
