India is hailed as a land of festivals and celebrations. Dussehra, also called Vijayadashami is celebrated as the victory of good over evil, throughout the length and breadth of India. The students of MLS 1 celebrated Dussehra, with great fervour in the form of a special assembly. The assembly incorporated Ram Lila, a gala theatrical enactment of Rama’s life story; and finally the war between Ram and Ravana. The students of class 5-A recited couplets giving the message of the victory of truth over evil. The Principal of the school, Dr. Goswami applauded the students for their commendable efforts, giving the message of virtue and goodness.
