The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14th Sept 2019, in the school premises. On this day, the constituent assembly of India had adopted Hindi’s Devanagri script as the official language of the Republic of India.
While the focus of the World Hindi Day is to promote the language at the global stage, the National Hindi Diwas, which is held across the country at a national level, marks adaptation of Hindi, written in Devanagari script as the official language.
Various activities were conducted to commemorate our National language and to make the students understand the importance of Hindi language. To feel the soul and to get connected with its roots, kavya pratiyogita and sulekha pratiyogita were also organized.
Students enthusiastically participated in the activities and came up with very creative ideas. It was a well spent day where students got the opportunity to showcase their talent and creative skills by participating in various activities of Hindi Diwas.
