Founders’ Day is traditionally a very important day in the school calendar. It is an opportunity when all the members of the school community - students, faculty, staff, parents and stakeholders meet to commemorate the efforts of those who founded the school and who have bequeathed resources to its development.
We stand here today, gazing at the momentous past of our building that we call, The Millennium School. We see that this name is not merely a building but the combined legacy of the founders who established this institution in the first place.
An atmosphere of celebration filled The Millennium School, when the students and teachers gathered to celebrate a decennium of triumph and success. The day was celebrated with fervor, zest and enthusiasm in the school. A myriad of activities were conducted and they were all designed to contribute towards the all-round development of the young achievers. While the students of MLS 1 participated in races, MLS 2 took part in a vivid Poster-making Competition wherein, the children depicted the rich cultural heritage of India through flamboyant colours and artistry.
The celebration commenced with the sacred ‘HAWAN’…spiritual chants and divinity reverberated in the premises. All members of the school sought the blessings of the Almighty.
On this occasion, our founder Principal, Dr. Manjula Goswami fondly reminisced the laying of the foundation stone in the year 2009. In the past decade, the school has grown from pillar to post and now it stands strong with the strength of more than 5000 students. Our principal has provided consistent and unwavering leadership, and in her stead the school will achieve greater honour and distinction. She also encouraged the students to reach majestic heights and become harbingers of fortune.
