TEACHER’S DAY MLS II

No written word or spoken plea, Can teach our youth what they should be, Nor all the books on the shelves, I believe it's what the teachers are themselves!

Teacher's Day is celebrated in India with lots of vigor and enthusiasm every year on the fifth day of September to mark the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Rahakrishnan who was an Indian philosopher and statesman and one of India's most influential scholars.

The students of the Millennium School dedicated this day to their teachers by organizing a mesmerizing event as a tribute to all the hard work that is done by all our teachers round the year!

The event started with our dear Principal Ma'am lighting the lamp, followed by a welcome speech delivered by the Head girl, the students presented various awe inspiring programs including plays, dances and band performances. As a token of love, every teacher was presented with a title which described him/her best, followed by an enthralling ramp walk and a ball dance. The organizing committee dressed up impeccably. The teachers were made to dress to the theme by the students and no wonder they all looked unbelievably elegant. The day ended with a Thank you note by the Head boy. All in all, the teachers and the students in sync, made sure that the event was a memorable one, for every member of the Millennium family.
