GRANDPARENTS DAY

It has been rightly said "Grandparents are our continuing tie to the near-past, to the events and beliefs and experiences that so strongly affect our lives and the world around us."
Grandparents Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of September every year. Like Mother’s Day and Father’s day, it’s a time for family celebration, and a chance to honor the important role that grandparents play in children’s lives.

To honor and show their love and affection the students of MLS 1 conducted a special assembly on this occasion. Keeping in mind, the word of the day ‘RESPECT’, the tiny-tots showcased a small skit. To create a special relationship with students and bestow blessings on them we had Dr. Nighat Khan grandmother of Ayaan Hussain and Areeb Hussain who embraced the assembly with her beautiful words. On this occasion the Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami imparted lessons to the students that would last a lifetime.
