The effort to protect the Ozone layer definitely gave us a reason to celebrate World Ozone Day on 16 September 2015.

TheMillennium School, Lucknow , observed this day by holding an Inter -House Debate Competition on 16 September 2015, on the topic ‘Feasibility of Ozone Protection Techniques in our Day to Day Life’.

Debating is one of the academic activities that give students creative room to express what they feel. The length and breadth of knowledge that they gain through this is simply unparalleled.

it was very evident that all the four teams were well prepared and they used various skills like overstatement, definition, irony, etc. to convince the audience. The participants armed with statistics and data made their arguments more emphatic with their righteous facial expressions, body movement and gestures. All the four teams exhibited great oratorical skills.

The Principal, Dr. Manjula Goswami, applauded the students for their speaking skills. She said that competitive debate improves self confidence, enhances the speaking and listening skills and increases their awareness of social and environmental issues.
