In an age of turbulence and hostility, there is a great need for a broad consensus on something unifying, something that encourages learning and empowers one’s knowledge. 23rd April, the birth and death anniversary of one of the greatest litterateurs of all times, William Shakespeare was celebrated as World Books Day, all across the globe, to demonstrate the comprehensive power of Books.
At a special assembly, the students at The Millennium School were explained the importance and benefits of reading. On this special day, children were given a utile session with their favourite books in the library, to enhance their knowledge and reading skills.
