TURNCOAT ON INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY
International Youth Day is an opportunity to celebrate the creative force and the innovative impetus that young people bring to every society.
It is celebrated on August 12th, each year to recognize the efforts of the world’s youth in enhancing global society.
To mark this day, an Inter-house Turncoat Competition for the students of class VIII was organised by the Literary Club of The Millennium School, Lucknow in the school auditorium, while the students of class VI took part in the Slogan Writing Activity on the theme ‘How they see the future of India!’
All participants were well prepared and spoke with confidence casting a spell on the audience and the judges. It was indeed an enriching experience to discuss the pros and cons of each topic. Their on presentation skills, knowledge and viewpoints were evaluated by the judges. The slogans were also unique and were highly appreciated.
The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami congratulated the participants and said that these competitions are fruitful for students to broaden their knowledge, enable lateral thinking and knowledge sharing.
