The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow hosted the TEDxYouth@TMSLucknow on 23.2.2019. The event saw a plethora of speakers bringing forth life changing ideas through their inspiring stories. The event which took place in the auditorium of The Millennium School South City Lucknow witnessed well known faces from all walks of life. It was a gathering of industrialists, entrepreneurs, educators and students. The program commenced with the traditional ‘Lighting of the Lamp’ by the Principal Dr. Manjula
Goswami. The speakers and the guest of honor also graced the stage during the opening ceremony.
The event kick started with Ms. Sunita Aron, resident editor at Hindustan Times addressing the crowd with her magnanimous stage presence. Her talk was in sync with the theme of the event ‘Breaking Milestones’. She narrated her journey through stormy seas and how today she has carved a niche for herself as a journalist and a social activist. Following Ms. Aron was Mr. Prashant Ingole, the renowned lyricist of Bajirao Mastani fame who unleashed his heart and let out his hassles and victory with his journey in life in reaching the zenith of success. The talk was followed by Ms Trisha Neogi addressing the audience with her vison of a healthier generation. Trisha, a wellness pioneer and an entrepreneur who has introduced path breaking initiatives in holistic health and lifestyle talked about how feeling healthy can help you push beyond boundaries. It did not end here as the concluding talk was impactfully delivered by Mr. Swapnil Tewari ‘Madman’ whose revolutionary ideas and life changing initiatives have practically ‘Broken Boundaries’. His talk about his journey as a social entrepreneur and his struggle with working in disturbed geographical areas inspired the audience. His stage presence and aura captivated the audience and left them wanting for more.
The guest of honour Mr. Mukesh Singh, Co-chairman PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries was delighted to share his experience and applauded the initiative taken by The Millennium School Lucknow. The event concluded with Dr. Manjula Goswami thanking everyone for their presence and efforts in bringing forth ideas that matter.
