Summer's here, which means it's time for … jazz, fun and learning! following the strategy to make the students learn through fun, a Summer Camp was organised for the Junior students at The Millennium School which was a sterling learning experience for the students.
It was a fun filled extravaganza for the students where they were given a platform to shed their inhibitions and showcase their hidden talent. The day started with a health talk followed by Yoga, exercises and Sun Salutation. To beat the heat, students enjoyed taking a cool dip in the swimming pool where they also learned different styles of swimming. There were a lot of activities for each student like Classical dance, Western dance, Drums, Theatrical Mania , Martial arts, Shooting, Photography, Skating, Art and Craft etc. The art of Pottery was an added attraction, where children enjoyed making their own pots and articles.
To inculcate values and morals and boost the confidence in each child there were special sessions held for the students development.
The event culminated with the Summer Party in which the students brought to life the concept of rhythm, the exuberant performance of drums enlivened the atmosphere. The event of the day was the vibrant fashion show that captivated the hearts of the audience.
The Principal of the school, Dr Manjula Goswami encouraged the spirit of sportsmanship in students and abundantly praised their efforts.
