All Work And No Play Makes Jack A Dull Boy.  This proverb holds true especially during this time of the year when the students are overtaxed with studies. Furthermore, a relaxed mind is a rejuvenated one. It retrieves all its capacities to absorb knowledge after proper recreation. So on 20th January 2018, in order to revitalize the mind’s inborn abilities, the students of classes VI to VIII of The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow, were sent to the field for a day full of fun and games.

The enthusiasm and happiness of the students knew no bounds. A range of sports activities were offered to the students according to their preference, skill and ability. This event promoted great team work and a high level of competition amongst them. The sports activities included football, basketball, badminton, table- tennis, cricket, carom and chess.

Once the event began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the participants.

The day ended with the Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami, congratulating the winners and applauding the students for their competitive spirit.
