The Millennium School celebrated ‘Krishnashtmi’ also known as Janmashtami on 14th Aug, 2014 with gaiety in the form of a Special Assembly by MLS I. On the pious occasion of Janmashtami, the children were made aware of the greatness of Lord Krishna. The students were dressed in the colourful attire of Lord Krishna and Gopikas. This event brought awareness among the children about traditional customs and also the playful pranks of Lord Krishna. Fun and frolic marked the presentation. They captivated the audience by displaying their dancing skills on the songs ‘Radha Kaise Na Jale’ and ‘Chal Hat Natkhat’. To conclude the event, our Principal Ma’am, Dr. Manjula Goswami shared inspiring excerpts from Lord Krishna’s life and his teachings. She further advised the children to believe in God and have full faith in him. She reiterated the words of Lord Krishna that “to action alone one has a right and not to its fruits.”
