Gandhi Jayanti is observed on 2nd October, every year, as a national holiday to commemorate the birth of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. The students of MLS 1 conducted a special assembly to relive Gandhi's life and contribution to India's Independence. To pay homage to Gandhi ji, the students sang his favourite devotional song, ‘Raghupati Raghava’. The students also depicted his ideals of ahimsa, truth and loyalty in the form of a skit. The special assembly got a befitting closure by the encouraging words of our Principal, Dr. Manjula Goswami.
