The quality of life is determined by its activities.
Activities give students an opportunity to develop particular skills and exhibit their non-academic abilities. They actually complement the curricular activities and groom the students in the ‘art of living’ and working together.
In The Millennium School, Saturday co-curricular activity sessions aim to enhance an all round skilful development amongst the learners.
The school provided a competent platform to the learners on 18th August, 2018 in the form of various activities conducted for classes II to VIII.
To celebrate the bond of love among siblings, students of class II participated in the Rakhi Making Competition and danced to the foot tapping beats.
Classes II and III showcased their creative skills by participating in the ‘ Rakhi Making Competition’
In the spirit of learning with fun and to hone their speaking skills, the young minds of classes IV and V participated in Hindi Recitation Competition on the topic ‘Rishtey’.
The students of class VI learnt and displayed crisp moves and techniques by participating in Martial Arts. They also sang soulful songs in the choir and experienced the magic of music and singing.
The learners of class VII were baffled everyone with their agility as they in the synchronized moves of aerobics. They also geared up for the upcoming festival of love and trust by making alluring Rakhi’s.
We firmly believe that ‘A healthy mind resides in a healthy body’ and keeping this in mind , the students of class VIII enthusiastically participated in Aerobics. They also showcased their prudent minds by participating in an eloquent Elocution Competition.
The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami encouraged the students to deliver their best keeping excellence in mind. She insisted on saying that a learner’s aesthetic development, character building, spiritual growth, physical growth, moral values, creativity, etc are supported to a great extent by co-curricular activities. She rewarded the winners with certificates and medals to motivate them for their participation in future as well.
