*Freedom in mind, faith in our hearts, memories in our souls... We salute the Nation on Republic Day.* *The 72nd Republic Day* was virtually celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at *The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow on 26th January 2021.* The school authorities kept the fervor of this important day alive by virtual celebration. The Management and staff attended the flag-hoisting function in the school premises in adherence to all Covid-19 safety protocols.” *The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami,* hoisted the national flag and the National Anthem echoed in the entire campus. The ceremony was then streamed as a part of virtual Assembly. A special Assembly was conducted virtually for the students of Little Millennium to Grade VIII, wherein various activities assigned to different classes were displayed online, coupled with live Felicitation Ceremony for students who participated in various Activities and for the academic excellence in the Periodic Assessments held recently. The school also expressed its appreciation and gratitude towards its doctor parents for their sacrifices and their role of frontline corona warriors by honouring them with certificates. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “ India”. *The Principal* in her address said that Republic Day has always been a very colourful celebration in our school and this time also we have kept the same energy through the virtual medium with the aim that the pride and spirit of nationalism reaches every child's household.
