The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow celebrated the 71st republic day with great Pride The Principal, staff and students left no stone unturned in making this monumental day memorable one. The students presented a majestic march-past dressed in their respective house uniforms and upholding the pride of the nation. Our esteemed Principal Dr. Manjula Goswami unfurled the National Flag followed by the cadences of the National Anthem. The head girl Riya Mathur gave an inspiring speech in English followed by a speech in Hindi. Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering and made each one of us realise the correct meaning of freedom and the importance to safeguard it. She impressed on the need to understand our Civic responsibilities. The teachers had come dressed in the tri colour theme and were felicitated for their efforts. The students were distributed sweets to mark the occasion.
