The Millennium School, Lucknow endeavoured to intertwine education with inspiration and melody by inviting the music maestro Ustaad Amjad Ali Khan, Ms. Subbalaxmi Khan and their proud prodigies Ayaan Ali and Amaan Ali to their school campus.

The entire school was dotted with excited students who idealise the family for their contribution to music.

The students welcomed them with endearing hand made cards. The guests met the students with great warmth. They encouraged the  students to follow their heart and do justice to  whatever career they decide for themselves. Ustaad Amjad Ali Khan reminded the students that there is no short cut to success. A lot of effort and hard work goes into making a success story. The children flocked around the family for their autograph.

Earlier on 01/11/2015, The Millennium School students presented the “Naushad Samman” to Ustad Amjad Ali Khan at a glittering ceremony held at Clarks Avadh, Lucknow wherein music maestros ‘Amaan Ali’ and ‘Ayaan Ali’ enthralled the audience with their Sarod Vadan. 

The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami thanked the guests for their affectionate gesture of visiting the students. She advised the students to draw inspiration from the family. She stressed that a lot of toil and sweat goes into making an Ustaad out of an ordinary musician.
