HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES FOR DEVELOPING ROOTS

Session 2018-19

Summer is here… time for fun and games and learning too!!! I am a growing up boy/girl now and I must learn to do my work on my own. How about starting with combing my hair, wearing my clothes and most important cleaning up my room!

HYGIENE INSTRUCTIONS

   Help me learn names of things and activities that help me to keep clean everyday.

• Brush your teeth twice a day.
• Do not eat too many chocolates and drink aerated cold drinks.
• Take a bath daily.
• Keep your finger and toe nails neat and trimmed.
• Wash your hands and legs after playing outside.
• Wash your hands before and after meals.
• Use your own towel, toothbrush, comb, etc.
• Use a napkin while sneezing.

Learn to say Thankyou, Sorry and Please.SIGHT READING Collect wrappers of simple things that your child easily identifies through sight reading. For e.g.:  chips, toffees, chocolates, biscuits, name of the school etc. let the child make a collage.

TIPS FOR PARENTS

• Introduce one small word with meaning each day.
• Set up an activity corner where the child can mess with crayons and water colours.
• Encourage your child to converse in English.
• Conduct a non- fire cookery class for your child. Tell them some easy recipes like sandwiches, ice cream with cake, bhelpuri, biscuit toppings, etc.
• Read one story daily to your child with a moral.

1. Learn School Prayer, Pledge  and Mission from the Almanac.
2. My Activity World-Pg 1 to 22(Upto Sorting to Pack).
3. Worksheets on Colouring, Hand Print, Tear & Paste, Body Parts & Scribbling.
4. Kindly make your ward go through the FLIPLEARN PRIME MODULE.
