The Millennium School, Lucknow, celebrated Labour Day with great fervor. To acknowledge the efforts of its helpers, a Special Assembly was conducted on 2nd May 2016 in the school auditorium. The helpers were welcomed on the stage and were felicitated with cards and gifts, made by the students, as a token of appreciation for their tireless efforts.
They were given the opportunity to showcase their talent and some of them left the audience spell bound with their mesmerizing performances. They were also made to participate in a game of musical chair planned for them. The students thoroughly enjoyed watching their didis and bhaiyas and cheered them throughout.
The Principal, Dr. Manjula Goswami, apprised the students with the importance of labour and was full of gratitude towards the priceless contribution of the helpers, who work with full dedication towards the needs, hygiene and security of the school.
