The Investiture ceremony of The Middle School for the academic year 2019-20 was held on Wednesday, 19th August,2019, in the school premises.It was an occasion where the young students were   prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of being an important and integral part of the administrative body, ‘Student Council’ is formed every year. The school follows a democratic system of electing the student council. The representatives are given adequate time for canvassing followed by school elections, where students cast their votes with fervour and enthusiasm.

The program started by invoking the blessings of the Almighty God. The solemn ceremony began by inviting our honourable Principal ma’am on the stage, for the pinning of badges to the newly elected council . One could see a look of gratification on the faces of all the office bearers as they were conferred with  badges and sashes. Mst. Shikhar Neogi was elected as the Head Boy ,Ms. Niharika Dewan the Head Girl, Mst. Aryan Sharma the Vice Head Boy and Ms Simargun Kaur the Vice Head Girl for this session. The Student Council took the pledge to hold the school values of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem. The Principal’s address provided the required impetus, as she appreciated and congratulated the newly elected members. She advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to them for the smooth running of the school. The ceremony  concluded with the National Anthem.
