*International Internet Day* was celebrated by The *Women and Child Security Organization(WCSO-1090 Helpline)* in the 1090 Auditorium on *29th October,2021* *Bhagyashree, the Bollywood actress* and social worker , best known for her roles in Hindi language film and television and is also the recipient of a Filmfare Award, was the Chief Guest at the event. On this occasion, she unveiled the new Mascot of 1090 to connect more and more women of the state. Along with her, the students and staff of *The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow* participated in the programme so as to create awareness on Internet and cyber safety in the context of women’s safety. The Principal of the school, *Dr. Manjula Goswami*, in her address, said that Internet is the most important invention in human history. It’s hard to fathom a world without the Internet today. She implored the young generation to take up the responsibility and engage in technology towards safe internet practices.
