August 15^th is the most important day in the history of India. On this fortunate day our country became free from British rule. This day always reminds us of the innumerable sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

We celebrated this day with great zeal. All students of Class LM and 1 eagerly took part in the Independence Day celebration. Children were dressed up in tri-coloured dress and as Freedom fighters. They enthusiastically participated in a ramp walk. They also presented a song expressing their patriotic feeling.

The Principal of the school, Dr. Goswami addressed the little children and motivated them to be always in the forefront of all nation building activities.
