'Be aware, wash with care'- to convert this thought into action, the students of LM started their day with a special activity to learn about hygiene and sanitation. The simplest way for schools and parents to help avoid illnesses at school is the age-old mantra of effective hand washing. It is drummed into all of us from early childhood, yet it has been estimated that one in five people still fail to wash their hands after visiting the washroom. The importance of cleanliness and hand washing was explained to the students. They were also told the correct way of brushing their teeth and washing hands. The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami, appreciated and praised the efforts of the children. She explained to them the importance of a healthy and  strong nation.
