HINDI DIWAS CELEBRATION MLS II

Hindi was adopted as the official language of the Constituent Assembly on 14 th September 2015.

With an aim to rekindle the love for India’s official language among students, The Millennium School , Lucknow celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ on 14th  September 2015.

As part of observing ‘Hindi Diwas’, to show their appreciation towards the national language, a special assembly was organized in which a series of competitions were held. The ‘Kavya Pratiyogita’, where some students recited Hindi poems, was the main attraction of the programme. The ‘Vaad-Vivaad Pratiyogita’ also made for a very interesting event.

On this day, the school also honoured the grandparents , as they judged the various competitions.

The Principal, Dr. Manjula Goswami , applauded the students for their performances and stated that as Hindi is an official language of India, we as citizens should be proud of it. She further said that to respect its importance as our mother tongue, we will always celebrate this day as mark of acknowledgement.

 

She also offered her gratitude to the grandparents, for sparing their precious time and being a part of our celebrations.
