The Millennium School, Lucknow in association with The Times Group and UP Tourism organized the Heritage Walk, Lucknow on Cycle and Lucknow on Horseback to make people aware about the rich heritage of our city on 25th November, 2015.
The tour took cyclists and riders to All Saints, MB Club, Kothi Bibaipur, Vilayati Bagh, Pipraghat & Dilkusha. Chief Information Commissioner and other historians briefed the participants about the historic sites of the cantonment area.
This event was followed by The Times Millennium Cup, jointly organized by The Millennium School, Lucknow and Times Group which got off to a rollicking start at Lucknow Race Course, Lucknow on 25th November, 2015. The atmosphere throbbed with palpable excitement and frenzy as Lucknowites turned up in their gorgeous attires to witness the first race of the racing season.
The event started with a scintillating dance performance by the students of The Millennium School, Lucknow and was followed by an impressive band performance by the band members of The Millennium School, Lucknow. The race was flagged off by Dr. Manjula Goswami, Principal, The Millennium School with the Chief Guest.
The audience comprising the glitterati of Lucknow soaked in all the excitement and fun in a lovely afternoon sun during the event. GOC of Central Command Lieutenant General Bakshi gave away the trophy to the winner.
