A festive Grandparents’ Day was celebrated on 16th September, 2017 at The Millennium School, South City, Lucknow with unparalleled fervor and joy.

The purpose of the flamboyant celebration was to honor senior citizens and to highlight their contribution in nurturing little angels. The school endeavoured to give them an opportunity to show their unselfish affection for their children's children. Small children share a special bond with their grandparents who share lovely fairy tales and inspiring stories with them. They make the youngsters aware of their strength and motivate them to forge ahead in life.

Grandparent’s have the greatest influence in human life. The Millennium School paid a lively tribute to all the Grandparents’ associated with the school by organizing fun-filled activities like painting, nail art, tambola, tattoo-making, selfie corner, magic pot etc.They had a great time participating in fun games.. The day was replete with incomparable jubiliation.

The Principal of the School,  Dr. Manjula Goswami emphasized the role of Grandparents in shaping the lives of children. She thanked each and every Grandparent who graced the occasion with his/her presence.
