‘‘GRANDPARENTS ARE A DELIGHTFUL BLEND OF LAUGHTER, CARING DEEDS, WONDERFUL STORIES AND LOVE.’’
Grandparents are a blessing and boon for our lives. They make our world a little more safe, kinder and warmer. Grandparents are the root of a family, the eldest and the most experienced people. They share their valuable experience and knowledge of life to help the upcoming generations learn, grow and become better human beings.
The Millennium School South City, Lucknow celebrated grandparents’ day on 7th September 2019, by touching the strings of gold and silver of the lives of the students and cherishing and honoring their grandparents who happen to be the strong pillars of the upcoming generations.
The ambiance of the school auditorium was flooded with sentiments of warmth and love. Many activities like singing, cracking a joke, storytelling and sher-o-shayari, were conducted. The esteemed guests also participated in some of the aforementioned activities, thus adding charm to the event and showcasing their talent. It was a day well celebrated and spent with our loved ones.
