Farewell to Session 2013-14

This year, like every other year, the students of The Millennium School, Lucknow bid adieu to the session 2013-14 in a vibrant Good bye Assembly. On Friday, 21st March, a special assembly was arranged both in MLS 1 and MLS 2 to celebrate the bonhomie and warmth of the year gone by.

A tuneful euphony was presented by the school rock band. The students presented a thought-provoking street play to elaborate the importance of the different organs of the body. An adorable dance performance was also presented by the children.

It was a special day for the students of Class V who were excited to embark upon the novel academic experience of Class VI. Wearing the convocation hats, the students were swollen with pride and intense joy. The students of Class IV enacted a hilarious skit to join in the celebration of Class V.

The Cock-house shield was bagged by Jal House in MLS 2&3 and Prithvi House in MLS 1. All the members of the winning houses flocked the stage in jubilation of their victory. The office-bearers made beautiful farewell orations, thanking the staff and students for their cooperation throughout the year.

The Principal of the school, Dr. Goswami made a heartfelt speech to express her affection for the children. In conjunction with the staff members, she even presented a melodious song to keep alive the memories of the glittering ceremony.

Subsequently, the children were taken for picnic to different exciting locations in the city. While the younger students went to Eco-Park, the senior students were taken to the Regional Science Centre. It was a fun-filled day indeed. Each face flushed with excitement to become a part of the whole new crop of students.
