What more to illuminate the path ahead than the euphoria of Diwali!

Diwali, the festival of lights, is extolled as the most bright and vibrant festival of the Indian sub-continent. It is a five day celebration that begins 18 days after Dussehra. This festival of lights, generates a convivial spirit and The Millennium School, Lucknow is no exception.

The students of MLS I decorated earthen lamps and spread across the message OF AN ECO-FRIENDLY Diwali. There was a special celebration in MLS I wherein the children presented beautiful dance and musical performances to express their joyous feelings. The students of MLS II also exhibited their amazing theatrics to eulogize the purpose behind the grand celebration of Diwali. The performances reached out to the audience through their captivating and melodious songs.

The latent evil of fire-crackers was condemned by the Principal of the school, Dr. Goswami. She enunciated the ill-effects of losing oneself to the dark side of Diwali. As she blessed the students and the function came to a close, the children left for a five-day break with a heart, full of excitement.
