The Millennium School, Lucknow organised an exciting and buoyant Pre-Diwali celebration on 14th October as a forerunner for Diwali festivities. The event saw various kinds of interesting and compelling stalls to engage people of all age groups in enjoyable activities. Small children took an instant fancy for the thrilling Haunted House, the enthralling Tattoo-making, the breath-taking Lucky coin, the rip-roaring hit the can and the absorbing memory game; while the teenagers ran for the exhilarating dandiya beats and the mesmeric dance floor .

 At the 'Lasso… The Bull',’Khatron ke Khiladi’ and ‘Bahubali’ stalls, the players’ fighting spirit were put to test. The visitors had a nice time, showing off their marksmanship in shooting balloons.

There were myriad shops wherein people could buy designer wear, Chicken Kurtis, handloom products, bed sheets,diyas, jute bags etc. There was a Selfie stall to preserve enchanting memories for life.

The eateries served motley of sumptuous food. Starting with appetizers like soups, momos, bhel-puri, sweet corn to Chaat, Chinese and Italian; the stalls boasted of abundant variety.

The icing on the cake was the Prize Distribution ceremony where the most well-dressed people won lovely prizes. It was a joyous carnival, full of frolicking frenzy. The students, staff members and guests enjoyed the event thoroughly.

Behind the scenes, the staff and students made great efforts to help organise the event. The students made charts, banners, buntings, cut-outs; and made eye-catching and prominent kiosks to attract maximum people to their stall.

The Principal, Dr. Manjula Goswami, along with her enthusiastic team saw to it that the fiesta was well organised and culminated into a massive success. She personally attended to the arrangements to ensure the satisfaction of all guests.
