‘Dandiya Raas’ is the traditional folk dance form of Gujarat, performed specially during the Navratri festival in most of the cities in India.

To keep up with the festive spirit, The Millennium School, Lucknow organized the ‘Dandiya Beatz’ amidst great merriment and exuberance.

Children along with their parents were seen in traditional garbs. They danced away joyously to the foot-tapping numbers and the scintillating music based on the Dandiya medley, especially composed by the music teachers of the school. The mouth-watering eateries were a major crowd puller and the people thronged at them in large numbers. Mehendi stall, nail painting stall, face painting stall and tattoo stall witnessed large footfalls during the event.

The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami, greeted the gathering warmly. She emphasized that the secret of a good life is to see everything with a non-serious eye yet be involved like a game…….. She invited the guests to rejoice in the spirit of the on going festive season.

All students, parents & Staff enjoyed the evening and carried beautiful memories home.
