The Millennium school, south city, Lucknow, in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh State Rifle Association (UPSRA), organized the 19th U.P. State Inter school shooting championship from 9th Aug 2017 to 13th Aug. 2017.It was an endeavour to identify and develop talented shooters in Rifle for World Championship. As many as 65 teams along with 700 individuals from across the state participated in the event. The event came to a befitting culmination with new achievements made by the participants. Even though the participants moved on to the portals of next level inspiring and motivating one another, the winners of the two categories were:

Ms. Bahuguda Joshi, The Cabinet Minister for Women Welfare, Family Welfare, Maternity and Child Welfare and Tourism, was the chief guest for the closing ceremony of the event. She appreciated the hard work and talent of the shooters and said that the right environment and right support could unearth athletes with real potential to progress far in the sports. The Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami also eulogized the performance of the shooters. She said that such events aim at giving students the conceivability to compete notionally for both individual and team glory and recognition.

The ceremony was also attended by Mr.Deepak Rajput, The Head Master of The Millennium School.
