| The sun’s horses were stolen once. How? Let’s read and answer the questions. |
| The seven naughty dwarfs were sitting and thinking. They were looking at the rainbow and thinking. They wanted to play a new game. They wanted to play a new mischief. And finally they all shouted together, ‘Yippiee!’ They had got an idea, the very same idea to play a trick. They decided to climb the rainbow and go into the sky and steal the seven horses of the sun. So they immediately climbed the rainbow and reached the sun and stole the seven horses of the sun. Each one of them rode on one horse and went in different direction. The sun slipped into the sea. The world became dark. The dwarf lost their direction and fell into the sea. All colours also disappeared. The flowers, the leaves, the butterflies, the dolls and toys- all became white. Then the sea god, Protean, came out of the sea. He had drunk all the colours so he changed himself into clouds and rained the colours once again on the earth. The earth once again became colourful- green leaves back on the trees, flowers bloomed and the grass was green once again. The sun reappeared and the horses returned. The dwarfs had gone deep inside the sea. And they never came back. But they may come again and steal the horses of the sun. Let us take care that they never come back to steal the sun’s horses. |
