The goal is to reach the top of the wall formation or the endpoint of a pre-defined route without falling. Wall climbing helps an individual to build up strength, endurance, agility and balance along with mental control. Since the children will be helping each other, it will help them gain trust within their teams.

Rappelling: Rappelling is ‘controlled descent’ or climbing down a rock-face using a rope. It is conducted using a descending device that allows the participant to slide downwards with great ease. Rappelling is one of the best activities for overcoming fear and building confidence.

Valley Crossing: Valley Crossing or Tyrolean traverse, also known as Terra Terra and TT is a method of crossing through free space between two high points on a rope without a hanging cart or cart equivalent. It is a challenging activity and helps the participant focus his/her energy. The children will set up the base for this activity themselves as a team, working together and therefore working on their team building skills.

Trekking: A trek is a walk, especially done along hill or in the mountains. Children will be participating in this everyday while moving to various activity sites. Also, respective groups will be trekking during their visit to the Cave..

Obstacle Course: Low ropes course is an outdoor activity where various obstacles (ropes, tyres, beam etc.) are arranged only at a few feet from the ground. The real obstacle is that of the human mind as in order to overcome these obstacles, one has to train their body and mind to work in unison. Some of the activities of a low ropes course are a balancing beam, rope bridge, rope ladder etc.

Basic First Aid: During EdTerra Camps students get a chance to understand certain basic first aid principles through a small workshop. This workshop helps the child develop the confidence to negotiate minor injuries and health hazards, especially those that are inherent to outdoor learning.

All these activities involve effective teamwork and aptitude to overcome challenges like darkness and outdoor spaces and above all, it opens portals to limitless fun!
