BOND OF LOVE CELEBRATED

Raksha Bandhan, meaning ‘The Bond of Protection’ is one of the most important festivals celebrated by Hindus throughout the world. It is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters.

The Dramatics Club of The Millennium school, Lucknow organised a Special Assembly on 17th August, 2016 to celebrate this eternal bond of love. The Assembly started with a special prayer and a Powerpoint Presentation was shown to educate students about the significance of this festival.

After the informative sessions, a few students who had their siblings in school, were invited to tie Rakhis ceremoniously- a sign to show that the school is indeed a home away from home! 

 In her address on the occasion, the Principal of the school, Dr. Manjula Goswami appreciated the combined effort by teachers and students, which helped the school succeed in catalysing feelings of care and affection between siblings.
