ACTIVITIES GALORE AT THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOL

ACTIVITIES GALORE AT THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOL

The students of Class IX-XII had an ‘Activity Day’ on the fourth Saturday, bustling with exciting events and sports. The numerous clubs and committees discussed their annual club agenda, milestones to achieve, hindrances to overcome, opponents to beat and events to organize in the session 2018-19.

Nominations for the Headboy, Headgirl, house captains and other pupil authorities were filed by the aspiring leaders on the same day. It was appealing to see the Student Body, endorsing and engaging themselves at utmost level of group discussions, opening the pores of clogged social insecurities and hoisting flags of leadership.

A humongous setup for the Combined Law and Aptitude Test (CLAT) seminar was organized with consultants coming from far and wide to interact and enlighten the aspirants with the prestigious examination which grants admission in autonomous as well as non autonomous law colleges. With a hall full of young aspirants and their hearts full of vigour, an interesting and descriptive speech was delivered with gripping presentations and  profound insight of the journey to the black cloaks.

Soft boards were exceptionally eye catching as the students showed off their craft and skills which got a super vertical platform. Sparking a flint of keen interest in charts and models, we got oneglittering soft board after another. Everybody participated. It ranged from setting up the charts to getting the glue, from making the entire portrait to just making sure nobody spilled water over the model.

Shooting the excitement to another dimension wasCricket, and that too at the high time of the IPL season, the students had to go crazy. Enthralled audience with scary vigorous cheering were the ones who packed the ground. Sixes and fours, catches and wickets, thundering applause and the cheering squad, the spirit of the game was at its peak.It wasn’t about the victory as much as it was about participation and completion of the journey. Sweat and mud stained kits and mutilated bats had a story to tell.

The Principal of the school, Dr.Manjula Goswami stressed that it is important rather essential for all students to participate in different activities of the school. A memorable day indeed, almost a school utopia of an event, the students logged off for the day to open the registers and records for yet another gleaming and anticipatingly glorious academic week.
