The students of The Millennium School brought laurels to the school by performing spectacularly in HCA-12th Kurukshetra District Chess Championship organized by Haryana Chess Association (HCA) at Geeta Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Kurukshetra.  About 170 chess players from more than five districts had participated in this prestigious championship under the age groups 13 and 19. The competition lasted for consecutive two days.  12 students of The Millennium School had participated in both the  categories. Aarushi Bhardwaj got 1st position and Anshika secured 3rd position , hence bagged Gold and Bronze medal respectively in Under-13 Girls category. On the other hand, Vanshika Singh  also  exhibited her talent and stood 2nd in Under -19 Girls category and won Silver medal as well.  Mr. Ramesh Goel and Mr. Rakesh Goel felicitated the winners with Medals and Certificates. All three winners will now represent the  District Kurukshetra at Open State Championship which will commence from 7th June at Bhiwani.  GIMT Chairpersons Mr. Ramesh Goel and Rakesh Goel felicitated the winners with Medals and Certificates.
