An Inter-house General Knowledge Quiz for classes VI to VIII was conducted today in the school multipurpose hall. Each team consisting of four participants from each House i.e. Agni, Jal Prithvi and Vaayu passed through six rounds. Various thought provoking questions based on history, geography, general science, sports, current affairs, etc. were asked from the participants. There were audio and visual rounds which further made the Quiz more interesting. Ten marks were awarded for the correct answer and five marks for the passed – question. There was ‘tie’ between Agni and Vaayu house  for the third position, which was decided with a rapid fire round with buzzer. At last, Prithvi House team got 1st position, Jal House 2nd position and Agni House 3rd position. Thus, the quiz enhanced the general knowledge of the students and generated their interest in the current affairs, too.Zeal among the participants and audience students was only seen to be believed. Even the audience was also curious to know the answers of the asked questions from the teams. They were also involved in the quiz by passing the unsolved question by the participant teams. They were rewarded candies for giving the right answer. Teachers also took participation in Audio and Visual round. There were three judges also to judge and supervise the quiz.  Principal Dr. A. K. Singh congratulated the winner teams and encouraged the students to be up-dated by reading the newspaper and listening and watching the news.
