An appealing function was organized to celebrate Mother’s Day in the premises of The Millennium School, Kurukshetra.  The mothers of the Little Millennium were invited on this occasion. Around 45 mothers marked their presence in the special function conducted in their honour. The celebration started with a speech highlighting the irreplaceable place mothers have in our lives. Then, a welcome dance was presented by the senior learners to exhibit the immense love that mother showers on her children. Various fun games were arranged for the special guests. Mothers’ walk with their kids, under the  dress code ‘Same Pinch’ was an exciting event. Besides this, Call your Husband, Rangoli with Bangles, Musical Chair, etc. generated a unique gala time for mothers to express their love for their family.The most surprising event of the day was ’Cooking Quick’ in which the renowned chef Mr. Kunal from the Department of Masters of Hotel Management, Kurukshetra demonstrated various cookery recipes to the mothers to win the heart of their family. ‘Selfie Corner’ was also one of attraction on the occasion. Anshika of class 9th sang a melodious song on the mother’s strength and determination. At the end of the celebrations, the mothers were awarded with the attractive gifts. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh encouraged the students to fulfill their duties towards their mother who is epitome of love. He also expressed his hearty gratitude to the mothers for and they in return accoladed the school’s special treatment for them.  At the same time, the students of classes III-V also made beautiful cards for their mothers in a Card Making Competition. They decorated the cards with handmade materials and imbued the papers with poetry and inspirational lines. Hence, the day want on adoring the mothers for their selfless dedication and love.
