The Millennium School, Kurukshetra commemorated the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre on the centenary of this most heinous event in the Indian history through a special assembly conducted by the students of class X. First of all, two minutes silence was observed by everyone to pay the tribute to the martyr. A video depicting the happening of this event was shown to the students. A speech was also presented by Tanushka, a student of class X, to describe this mass execution. Ansh and Naman of class X held a quiz to check and enhance the knowledge of the students about this goose bump raising event. Patriotic poems and songs presented by Anushka, Jhanvi, Priyanks, Sanchi, Gurharman and Swayam created the ambiance of patriotism. Each one present there was overwhelmed by the feeling of patriotism. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh extremely amazing facts about this condemnable event. He appreciated the students for organizing the special assembly and encouraged the students to never let the ignition of patriotism fall dim as true Indians. The assembly culminated with the singing of National Anthem.
