A career counselling session was organized for the students of classes IX – XII in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra on 28 April to guide and counsel the students for the career opportunities in the coming years of their life. Mr. Nitin Khetarpal, Career Counsellor Educomp Solution Limited, explained to the students that there are various career opportunities available for a bright future in each field of work. He depicted what the future prospects are there in each stream i.e. humanities, sciences and commerce, provided the students are well acquainted with their interests and the horizons of knowledge. It was explained that one could become a doctor, chartered accountant, company secretary, judge, lawyer, teacher, administrator, artist, etc. as per his or her aspiration and competence without getting any negative pressure. ‘Confidence and attractive communication skills were the need of the hour to brush up and exhibit their talent’, he said.  Many queries regarding their careers were satisfied on the spot. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh expressed his gratitude to the counsellor for his invaluable advice and interactive session.
