The Millennium School, Kurukshetra celebrated the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru of Sikhs with great devotion. A special assembly was organised by the students of class VIII on this auspicious occasion. First of all, the pious Shabads from Guru Granth Sahib Ji were chanted by the choir group. All the students covered their head with a handkerchief, removed their shoes and joined their hands during the prayer.  The entire ambience had become musical and spiritual. A song and a video were also presented to depict the sanctity of the occasion and the life sketch of the great Teacher. In the end, Prashad of Halwa was also distributed among the students and the staff members.  Principal Dr. A.K Singh urged the students to understand and follow the preachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in their life also to make it very meaningful and productive.
