The Millennium School, Kurukshetra celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi with great devotion and obeisance in the school campus. The entire school assembled in the playground where the centre of magnetism was the Human Shaped Logo of Gandhiji  and his Charkha which was formed as per the logo  issued  by the centre government. The figure was created  by all the students and the teachers forming a human chain.  An aerial photography was conducted with the help of a drone camera flying above the students. This was an enthralling  moment when the students and the teachers standing in the outline of the figure were full of exhilaration and excitement. Earlier, a special assembly was conducted in the morning by the little students of class II. The students recited a melodious poem in the praise of Mahatma Gandhi with intense expressions. A motivational speech was also delivered to explain the ideology of the Mahatma. Besides this, all students and staff members of the school took an oath to follow the philosophy of Gandhiji in their   life, too. This is noteworthy that The Millennium School, Kurukshetra has already conducted plethora of activities this year on the 150th anniversary year of Gandhiji very enthusiastically. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh addressed the students on this occasion and encouraged them to understand the universally applicable principles of Gandhiji to lead a successful life. He stated that The Millennium School has alwayed believed in imparting values to the students so that they can have an experiential learning to become a responsible citizen of the 21st century.
