The Millennium School, Kurukshetra Celebrates Teacher’s Day with Fervour
Teacher’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra. A special assembly was organized by the students on this occasion. Students made all the preparations to make their teachers feel special. They welcomed all the teachers by putting up the badge and tilak at the entrance of the MPH.
First of all, a floral tribute was offered to the honourable president, educationist and philosopher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by the Director-Principal and the Headmistress. A speech to depict the sanctity of the day was delivered by the head girl.
Self-composed poetic lines, depicting the traits of each teacher, were recited by Bhavya, Ryan and Samridhi.
Students presented a dance performance on various songs and spell bound the audience. Besides this, a medlay also enthralled each one. Various fun games were conducted wherein all the teachers performed the given tasks very delightfully. Many students presented hand-made cards to the teachers.
Director-Principal Mrs. Amita Kochhar addressed the teachers and the students and asserted that a teacher plays a pivotal role in the life of every person. A teacher is considered the best brain in the world. Hence, this is the duty of every student to respect a teacher from the core of his heart.
